The Events Cinema On George Street Is Showcasing Some Of The Official Outfits Worn On Set…..
Can’t get enough of the new The Dark Knight Rises?
Well you’re in for a treat as the Events Cinema on George Street is displaying three costumes hot off the set!
Yes, that’s right. Here’s your chance to see what the cast wore whilst shooting the new movie.
Of course there’s a Batman costume, which is the unchanged design that Christian Bale wore from The Dark Knight!
And costume designers’, who have brought the outfits to Australia, told Sydney Social 101 that the Bat suit is made up of 110 separate pieces molded onto a suspended mesh to create the bulked-up look!
So it looks like a lot of love went into the outfit!
The Cat suit worn by Anne Hathaway in the flick is made of two parts, with a belt round the middle to give it the illusion that it is all-in-one. It’s absolutely tiny and shaped closely to Anne’s body and costume designer Lindy Hemming created the goggles to resemble cat ears when they are flipped up!
And completing the showcase is Tom Hardy’s out! He plays Bane, a new character, and his attire has a very combat feel to it. He wears combat boots, trousers and jacket. His famous oxygen mask is made from polymer.
Don’t miss your chance to catch a glimpse of The Dark Knight Rises costumes worn on the actual set at the George Street Cinema now!
