Back for it’s fourth installment, The Grace Hotel opened the Flavours of Malaysia Food Festival in Sydney last night!
Luckily, Sydney Social was invited along to sample the fine cuisine on offer!
Kicking off the opening night was The Grace Hotel General Manager, Philip Pratley, who revealed that four top chefs had been flown in especially from Kuala Lumpur for the food promotion.
“The flavours you will experience are from three northern states of the country, Penang, Kedah and Perlis,” he revealed to guests.
Food lovers will be tempted by the menu, which includes a variety of home-cooked dishes of Satay, Roti Canai, Nasi Goreng and other traditional Malaysian rice and noodle dishes. A buffet style lunch and dinner will be available at the hotel throughout October.
The event is aimed to bring travel and local culture together, and diners may also be in with a chance of bagging themselves some great prizes, such as a return ticket to KL, with two nights accommodation at the luxurious Hotel Capitol Kuala Lumpur. So don’t miss out!
The popular event is organised by The Federal Hotel Kuala Lumpur in conjunction with Tourism Malaysia and Malaysia Airlines, and takes part until October 21.
