Ananas Bar & Brasserie in The Rocks is the place to celebrate all things fabulous and French this July when it invites you to commemorate Bastille Day and party like it’s 1789.
On Saturday 13 July, Bar Ananas will throw a lavish party worthy of the Queen of France, Marie Antoinette herself from 6pm until the early hours of the morning. The stunning, Parisian-styled bar will be the setting for French entertainment including DJs and live acts so come dressed to impress and be prepared to dance the can-can. No French celebrations would be complete without bubbles, so Ananas will have some special offers available on champagne for the night, including its award- winning and exclusive Marc.
For those planning their recovery, Brasserie Ananas will be opening especially for Sunday lunch on Bastille Day, 14 July. The very first anniversary of the storming of the Bastille prison was celebrated with a four-day feast in 1790 with most of the population of Paris in attendance. In the spirit of that occasion, Ananas will offer a special Bastille Day a la carte lunch menu created by new head chef Paul McGrath, who trained in classical French cookery at some of Europe’s finest restaurants. Of course there will be champagne and cocktails available to make your celebration complete.
