Marquee Sydney is blossoming into full party mode, kicking off spring with a host of budding international talent including: Redfoo, EDX, Miss Nine and Kid Massive in September.

Friday 6 September will see Marquee bloom pink for the inaugural Pink Hope Block Party, which is partnered with women’s breast and ovarian health awareness charity Pink Hope. Big-ticket items are up for grabs through a raffle at the event, as well as a silent auction running throughout September. Martini Club will round off the party with their smooth sounds, while Australian electro-house and dance group favourite The Potbelleez will kick things on in Main Room, known for their breakthrough hit Don’t Hold Back and recently-released single Saved in a Bottle.

Saturday 7 September will see Amsterdam-based DJ and model Miss Nine hit the decks with her progressive-house beats, including her latest track Turn Up the Love. Proving she’s more than just a pretty face, Miss Nine was the first female artist to mix a compilation for world-renowned Washington-based Yoshitoshi Recordings; hosts her own monthly radio show broadcast in over 35 countries and has her own record label.

Hailing from Denmark, Kid Massive will also hit Marquee’s dance floor on Saturday 7 September, with his signature Main Room house sounds. The UK based DJ’s debut album A Little Louder includes collaborations with industry heavyweights Tiësto and David Guetta.

Party-rocking international singer, rapper, DJ and now talent judge Redfoo will perform on Friday 13 September. Currently on Aussie shores for Channel Seven’s X-Factor, the energetic member of electro-pop duo LMFAO – whose debut album Party Rock was nominated for a Grammy in 2010 – will entertain revellers with his quirky antics. Those keen to ‘wiggle’ can enjoy a second dose of the star when Redfoo plays at Marquee again on Friday 27 September.

Marquee is excited to welcome Switzerland-based EDX on Saturday 14 September as part of his Australian tour. The internationally-acclaimed progressive-house DJ/producer is sure to impress, fresh from the launch of his weekly radio show No Xcuses and debut album, On the Edge in 2012. Globetrotting Australian act Those Usual Suspects will add extra party impact to the night with their funky house tunes taking over Boom Box.

Party boys and electro dubstep mixmasters Bombs Away! will set off Marquee’s dance floor on Friday 20 September, with their record Party Bass which went platinum on the ARIA Dance charts last summer.

Marquee is excited to host Ivan Gough, one of Australia’s most accomplished dance music DJs and producers on Saturday 21 September. As one half of TV Rock, Gough’s smash Flaunt It went double-platinum, while his tunes have made it into the playlists of DJ legends Sasha and Paul Oakenfold.

Handpicked by DJ powerhouse Kaskade to support his tours, Mind Electric will clean up Marquee’s spring line up on Saturday 28 September with his fresh club-bangers such as Electrify, Infinity club-bangers such as Electrify, along with Australian favourite Sgt Slick’s electro-house stylings.
