The Star Event Centre is fast becoming the ‘must play’ venue for both local and international acts visiting Sydney, as stars line up to perform at the $100 million state-of-the-art venue. From international singers, such as Alicia Keys and Ricky Martin, to Chinese superstars and local entertainers including Cosentino and Trevor Ashley, there’s something on offer for everyone.
Ricky Martin – 14th October
Sydneysiders will have the chance to see The Voice judge, Ricky Martin, perform for the first time in ten years! He’ll be shaking those famous hips to his smash hits including Livin’ La Vida Loca and She Bangs, as well as performing some of his newest material in an intimate live performance.

Gym Class Heroes – 23rd October
New York hip-hop outfit, Gym Class Heroes, will take to the stage for an exclusive live performance at The Star. The band behind the hit single, Cupid’s Chokehold, shot to fame in 2005 with their album, The Papercut Chronicles, offering a unique blend of hip-hop, rap, funk and reggae. Since then they have collaborated with some of the industry’s best, including Darryl Hall (of Hall & Oates), Estelle, Busta Rhymes and Adam Levine of Maroon 5.

Australian Independent Music Awards – 7th November
Australia’s powerhouse of musicians come together to celebrate their talents at the 2013 Australian Independent Music Awards. On arrival, guests will enjoy the Deck Pre-Show from the Event Centre rooftop overlooking Sydney, with exclusive live performances. Trevor Ashley’s Star Struck – 8th November
Back by popular demand, luck will be a lady once again when Trevor Ashley returns in true style to Sydney’s most fabulous and exciting new venue. Fresh from his hit run on London’s West End, Trevor will transform into some of the world’s greatest loved divas in a show featuring new and old hits. Expect the high energy of Tina Turner, the madness of Bette Midler, the elegance of Shirley Bassey and the anthems of Cher – all channelled with the inimitable Ashley spin.

Olly Murs – 9th November
British pop star, Olly Murs, hits Australian shores this November for his first official tour. Performing with his full band, Murs will be playing hits such as Troublemaker, Army of Two and Dear Darlin’. Murs’ third album, Right Place, Right Time, saw first single, Troublemaker feat. Flo Rida, reached the Top 5 on the ARIA charts, was a #1 Airplay hit, and is now certified triple platinum

One Republic – 12th November
American Pop Rock Band, One Republic, led by recent The Voice Australia mentor and high profile hit maker, Ryan Tedder, will perform a single show at The Star Event Centre, rocking a swag of songs from their hugely successful three album repertoire, including Apologize, Native, Counting Stars and current chart topper, Something I Need. Jessica Mauboy – 15th November
Jessica Mauboy is hitting the road with her national To the End of the Earth tour which will see her visit all major metro and many regional centres across the country. Cosentino – 16th & 17th November

Alicia Keys – 17th December
Alicia’s intimate performance at The Star Event Centre is part of her Set the World on Fire Australian tour. She will be performing hits from her fifth studio album, ‘Girl on Fire’ along with songs from her other albumns including Songs in A Minor and The Element of Freedom. Alicia Keys has sold more than 1.7 million units in Australia and more than 30 million albums worldwide.
