On Sunday 1 December, The Star’s support of the local Christmas in Pyrmont festival will kick off, as Sydney’s premium entertainment destination gives locals a taste of the many delights on offer this festive season.
As a sponsor and supporter of the Christmas in Pyrmont Festival, The Star will be represented on a stand and selling a range of Christmas delicacies and sweet treats created by the star’s award-winning kitchen. All proceeds from the sale of the Christmas treats will be donated to the Christmas in Pyrmont charities.
The Christmas in Pyrmont festival will see a huge line up of festive activities to get locals and visitors alike into the Christmas spirit early, from a visit from Santa Claus, to a petting zoo, food stalls, Christmas gifts, carols, cakes and entertainment.
Pauline Keyvar, co-convenor and local community volunteer said that the first Christmas in Pyrmont festival is set to be an engaging and heart-warming community event, celebrating the spirit and goodwill of Christmas and raising money for worth 3 local organisations.
With all proceeds from the day donated to the festival’s chosen charities, Animal Welfare League of NSW, Pyrmont Cares and YMCA Brightside, Managing Director of The Star, Frederic Luvisotto says The Star is thrilled to be part of such a worthwhile community initiative.
“As a proud member of our local community, we are excited to support such a fun, family-friendly event, and look forward to kicking off the Christmas celebrations on the 1st of December,” he said.
