Oakley’s hosted their infamous annual PRO-AM Golf Day 2012 in Sydney last Thursday to coincide with the launch of the Oakley CIPHER – the world’s lightest performance golf shoe, weighing in at just 260grams. Nanospike technology creates superior traction and greater flexibility designed to optimise and balance the perfect golf swing!
To demonstrate these unique features Oakley tee’ed off at Moore Park Golf Course for a fun packed day which started off with a Monster Putt challenge, followed by a shot gun start. Celebrities and athletes were put into teams of four to compete in the 18 hole challenge, which included Patron, Red Bull and Corona themed holes.
Oakley were joined on the course by athletes Brad Gaul, Mitch Allan; Snowboarder, Scotty James; Snowboarder, and Layne Beachly; Oakley Ex-Pro Surfer. Alongside celebrity golfing faces such as Ironwoman Candice Falzon, James Tobin, Jarrad McVeigh, Jay Lyon, Brian McFadden, Ryan O’Keefe, Andrew Johns, Ben Ross and Luke Jacobz.
