Back for another year, The Grace Hotel Sydney, in association with Tourism Malaysia and Malaysia Airlines, launched the ‘Flavours of Malaysia Food Festival’ yesterday.
The Grace Brassiere was transformed into a culinary delight, with authentic Malaysian food from Head Chef Tan Kok Siongand his team, who were flown out especially for the event.
The dishes were specialities from the Southern States of Malaysia. This is an exclusive opportunity for food lovers to experience the menu, which includes a variety of home-cooked dishes including Chicken Satay, Roti and Nasi Goreng, as well as other traditional Malaysian rice and noodle dishes.
Bringing travel and culture together, 220 guests attended the popular festival’s opening night. There was even a prize draw, with the chance to win a return ticket to Malaysia – with two nights’ accommodation at the luxurious Hotel Capitol Kuala Lumpur, as well as many other great gifts up for grabs.
A buffet style lunch and dinner will be available at the hotel between September 26- October 13.
